Alongside my full-time role at NFCtron, I led the engineering for Sportmatiq — a SaaS product that scraped sports-match data and turned it into AI-driven analysis.
As founding engineer and tech lead, I led a team of five — three ML engineers, one frontend, one backend — and owned the data-processing architecture end to end.
We scraped historical match data from Czech sports-betting sites, integrated feeds from most of the Czech sports-data platforms, stored it in PostgreSQL, and built Python ML workflows on top to produce the analysis.
It was my first time leading a small team end to end on architecture — and holding it part-time, in parallel with a demanding full-time engineering job.
